Well, to say the least, our lifestyle isn’t exactly conventional. An “off” week doesn’t mean a break from it all—it just means we switch gears. Off weeks are big for schoolwork, where we dive into our homeschool routine. Thanks to the support of our Florida Virtual School teachers, we keep our kids’ education on track despite our unique schedule. We follow the public school curriculum, submitting work that gets graded by teachers who truly understand and support our journey. We couldn’t do this without them!

Each day starts with schoolwork before diving into our own “workday”—which includes training on court, off-court conditioning, and recovery treatments like massages, chiropractor sessions, and sauna time.
We’re also lucky to have simplified life by living in our RV. This means a bit of regular maintenance, like cleaning up the RV, which can take 15-30 minutes on tough days. Every other week, we empty the tanks at a local RV station and filling up our water can be done at any hose connection thanks to our upgraded filter system. We like simple, and continue to find ways to get better at it.

Then, of course, there’s our job as professional pickleball players. Beyond just playing and training, our work these days includes interviews, podcasts, social media updates (like website development), and connecting with sponsors and new products. This week was no exception! This is often a side that people forget, but has become more and more important.
But even with all that, we make time for fun. Halloween parades, dinners with friends, beach walks, and intense Mario Kart battles are just a few highlights. A week “off” for us is anything but slow, but it’s full of things we love—family time, growth, and a few good laughs along the way.
Hope everyone has had a great week!
